The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has planned to achieve a 100% gross enrollment ratio of students in the academic year 2023 – 24. During this academic year 1,50,005 more students than last academic year from class 1st to 12th and equivalent classes have been enrolled in schools. Totally 85,02,743 students are enrolled in the current academic year. As part of the process to achieve a 100% gross enrollment ratio of students all the district records are verified online.
Praveen Prakash IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh reviewed the class-wise transition on Thursday. Whether all the 5th class students of the last academic year are in the 6th class of the current academic year. And also whether the students from the 8th class of the last academic year have been transferred to the 9th class of this academic year or not. He suggested to all district educational officers that the drop out students must have to identify.
