In a remarkable display of eloquence and insight, GIET School of Pharmacy NSS Volunteers excelled in the Nehru Yuva Kendra’s National Youth Parliament 2024 Regional Level Competitions, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, held on February 20 in virtual mode. K. Shekina Gidyon secured 1st place with her impactful speech on “Making India a Global Leader,” joined by A. Pavani and M. Sai Siri Phanisha who clinched 1st and 2nd places in East Godavari and Kakinada districts, respectively, on the same topic. G. Nithin Srikar claimed the 2nd place in Eluru district, addressing “Atmanirbhar to Vikisth Bharat.” Principal M.D. Dhanaraju expressed pride in the students’ achievements, emphasizing the competition’s role in raising awareness of national issues and enhancing public speaking skills. The winners are set to compete in the state-level event on February 24.
